RF Shielded Door

The door is the most critical — and most stressed — component of any shielded room. Ours are engineered to preserve the room's full shielding performance over years of daily use, achieving at least 100 dB isolation measured per IEEE-299 across 30 MHz to 18 GHz, extendable to 40 GHz.

Sealing is achieved through low-pressure tin-plated beryllium-copper contact strips fitted in single or double rows along the frame jambs and head section (a flush appearance option is available), with beryllium-copper finger stock on the frame. Manual, semi-automatic, and electrically hydraulic press operation types are available to suit traffic levels and accessibility needs.

Doors are fire-retardant per NRL 8093, temperature resistant, and fully customisable in size. Optional extras include mounting provisions for absorber material and exterior powder coating to match your facility.
